LANDLORD & TENANT ISSUES

We are experienced in advising both landlords and tenants on issues involving both long-term leases and short-term tenancy agreements.

We can advise on and assist in the drafting of tenancy agreements, negotiating new leases and lease renewals, for both commercial and residential properties.

Our experienced team acts for both landlords and tenants on a range of issues, including breach of tenancy agreements, proceedings for eviction and where landlords are not fulfilling maintenance or repair responsibilities.

A good tenant is a great asset for a landlord providing a steady income of their investment whilst looking after the property, a bad tenant however can be a real headache!

Sometimes it becomes necessary to get possession back of your property. When it is a residential property you must have a Court Order. We often act for landlords in regaining possession of their property.Many landlords find it difficult to make the decision to evict a tenant and it can take a long time for a Court Order to be obtained.  We try to make the process as smooth as possible. 

We also advise landlords how at the outset of the tenancy they can best protect themselves to ensure that they can regain possession in the quickest and least expensive way.
